We Rescue Westies in Georgia
We are Passionate about helping Westies in Need
The Westie Club of the South is group of enthusiastic Westie lovers in Georgia that rescue purebred West Highland White Terriers (Westies) that are in urgent need of help. We monitor shelters and rescue organizations in Georgia for Westies needing care and shelter, and we also accept surrenders from Georgia residents who unfortunately can no longer care for their Westies. We nurse our rescued Westies back to health and find them a loving, forever home they so desperately need.
We Love Being in Community with One Another
As mutual lovers of the Westie breed, we desire to be in community with others who share the same passion for the breed. Our club is a place where we share our mutual love of West Highland White Terriers and put our love into action with our volunteer rescue, surrender and adoption programs. Membership with Westie Club of the South means you are directly supporting our rescue program, and it also provides access to club-only benefits. This includes participation in club-only events including our annual reunion picnic, club fundraisers such as our annual auction banquet, and acess to member-only content on this website.
We monitor shelters and other rescue organizations in Georgia as well as assist owners needing to surrender a Westie. We arrange for veterinary care and find them a forever home.
If you are a Georgia resident and have a Westie that you can no longer care for, you can surrender your pet to us and we will place your Westie a loving home.
Westies that we have rescued and have been cleared by both the veterinarian and the fostering family may become available for adoption into their “furever home”.

Donate to Westie Club of the South
The Westie Club of the South is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The work of our rescue, surrender and adoption programs are funded by fundraisers held by our club members and from donations from caring people like you who desire to help Westies in trouble.
Your donations allow us to rescue these Westies and provide the critical medical care they need, so they can eventually be adopted into a forever home.
